Ayanna W. Murphy


Ayanna's practice focuses on defending various companies in asbestos litigation both within New York State and nationwide including manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.

Prior to joining DEYB, Ayanna was as an Assistant District Attorney with the Westchester County District Attorney's Office where she gained criminal litigation experience.

Ayanna is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated., an international 501(c) (3), not-for-profit organization which focuses on scholarship, sisterhood, community service and social action. Ayanna spends time volunteering in her local community and serves as Journalist and Chair of the Communications and Public Relations Committee for the Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Ayanna served as Vice-President for the Black Law Students Association, Financial Secretary and Treasurer for the National Black Law Students Association, and Senior Staff Editor for the Law Review during her time in law school.
